About the Founder
Dr. Comfort Uwadiae PT, DPT
Health and wellness have been driving forces in Comfort’s career since high school. She knew early on that she wanted to pursue physical therapy and began her journey as a PT aide at Professional Orthopedics. This experience ignited her passion for making a meaningful impact in people’s lives through rehabilitation, setting her on the path to earning a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences with a concentration in Physical Therapy, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) at New York Institute of Technology.
Comprehensive Experience in Rehabilitation
The first course of her DPT journey was a rigorous human body dissection at the College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM), providing her with an in-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology that she has carried into her clinical practice. Since starting her career in 2012, she has dedicated herself to helping patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence in both hospital and home settings. Her experience spans intensive care units within acute care settings, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy and home health. Her experience has allowed her to work with a diverse range of patients from young adults to the most elderly.

We come to you! Whether at home, work, or another location, we provide expert one-on-one PT sessions tailored to your needs.
In New York, you can see a physical therapist without a referral for the first 10 visits or 30 days. After that, a doctor’s referral may be required.
We primarily serve The Five Towns, East Rockaway, Rockville Center, Garden City, Valley Stream, Malverne and surrounding Nassau County areas. If you’re outside this area, contact us to check availability.
Yes! We are a Medicare Part B provider. If you qualify, Medicare typically covers 80% of the cost, and secondary insurance may cover the rest.
Medicare covers skilled PT for medical necessity, but maintenance, wellness, and certain post-rehab services are not covered. We offer cash-based wellness programs for continued care.
