Much of her clinical training was completed at Montefiore Hospital and Catholic Home Care, where she developed a deep foundation in patient-centered care.

Raised in a family of healthcare professionals spanning nursing, medicine and care coordination, Dr. Uwadiae developed an early appreciation for the power of interdisciplinary collaboration in promoting dignity and independence. Born and raised in Bayside, Queens, she began working as a physical therapy aide at Professional Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy in Whitestone during her early high school years. Her passion for rehabilitation continued through college and into her doctoral education.

Dr. Uwadiae holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with a concentration in Physical Therapy and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Her decision to pursue physical therapy was grounded in a strong belief in its transformative role within healthcare—offering patients a clear path to improvement through movement, education and compassionate care.

Through Opt Physical Therapy Rehabilitation PLLC, Dr. Uwadiae provides licensed, Medicare-billable mobile physical therapy services aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility and empowering independence for adults managing orthopedic, neurologic, oncologic, cardiac, vascular or chronic health conditions.

Her wellness-forward division, Opt2Restore, offers services including home safety consulting, aging-in-place planning, community reintegration support, ergonomic assessments (for both home and workplace), virtual recovery coaching and comprehensive wellness programs. This branch of her practice serves individuals, families, caregivers, employers and organizations seeking holistic and proactive solutions to long-term health and safety.

Dr. Uwadiae is deeply involved in her local community in Hewlett, where she resides with her family. She actively volunteers as a PTA class mom and serves as treasurer for SEPTA, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to supporting families, education and inclusive community programs.
